BOTM #5: The Big Sleep
Saturday May 09, 2020
Saturday May 09, 2020
That's right, we have a new Book of the Month review! It's been a while since we last had one of these. In this episode, we're covering The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler.
With the original hardboiled noir story starring the classic Private Investigator Philip Marlowe, Raymond Chandler created many of the familiar detective story tropes we all know and love. Though fairly basic compared to modern detective crime stories, The Big Sleep still holds up as a classic in the genre.
